Nashoba Studio was built on a simple conviction — that the best outdoor furniture should be made by hand, by one craftsman, from the finest materials available, in a place worth knowing.
For over twenty years Rich Buttiglieri — a craftsman and a career product designer — has been building premium teak and mahogany Adirondack furniture in Stow, Massachusetts, in the heart of the Nashoba Valley. Every chair, every ottoman, every side table leaves the workshop with his branding iron mark burned into the wood, his cipher signed in archival ink alongside it, and a brass nameplate flush-set into the accent slat.
Every design decision reflects both craft tradition and a professional designer's instinct for how people actually use the things they love. The arm shaped for easy entry. The recline that lets you stand without embarrassment. The width that holds everything the afternoon requires.
Both collections feature a generously sculpted waist opening — 22.5 inches on the Grand Ease and 21.75 inches on the Vantage — wider than most comparable Adirondack chairs and a meaningful difference in comfort for a broader range of bodies and ages. The Vantage at 28 pounds moves with your outdoor life. The Grand Ease at 42 pounds stays where it belongs.

Modern traditional teak Adirondack design, slightly more upright for ease of movement, built from the finest materials available - Grade A Premium Heartwood plantation teak, responsibly grown and harvested. Marine grade stainless hardware exclusively used throughout. Weathers naturally to a beautiful silver grey or maintains its warm honey tone with periodic oiling. Your choice.

Classic deep-recline Adirondack design in rich mahogany, with exceptionally wide arm rests — 7 inches of solid stock on each side, wide enough for a book on one side and a drink on the other. Larger, lower, more enveloping than the Vantage design. The chair you choose when you intend to stay.
